WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility specialistsDiscuss your website

WCAG 2.2 AA · EAA readiness

Make your website accessible.

We audit and fix ecommerce and business websites against WCAG 2.2 AA and relevant European accessibility requirements.

  • Manual and automated testing
  • Clear developer guidance
  • Remediation support

Why accessibility matters

Automated checks are only the beginning

Automated tools can find common technical errors. They cannot reliably tell whether someone can navigate, understand or complete a task using assistive technology.

A complete audit also tests keyboard navigation, screen-reader output, focus behaviour, forms, dynamic components and complete user processes.

Include more people

Remove barriers that prevent customers from using your website.

Prepare for Europe

Address relevant accessibility requirements before they become urgent.

Fix with confidence

Give designers and developers clear, testable implementation guidance.

Our process

From evaluation to improvement

  1. 1

    Define the scope

We identify the website’s templates, components and critical user processes, then propose a scope based on complexity rather than URL count.

  2. 2

    Audit the website

We test the agreed sample against WCAG 2.2 AA using automated tools and manual evaluation.

  3. 3

    Report or remediate

We document the issues for your team or turn them into a practical plan and implement the agreed improvements.

  4. 4

    Retest the result

We verify the changes against the original criteria and summarise the outcome, limitations and next steps.

FAQ

Questions before you begin

Need to discuss something specific? Send us your website.

What is the difference between WCAG and the EAA?

WCAG is an international technical standard for accessible web content. The European Accessibility Act is legislation covering certain products and services, including ecommerce. WCAG provides an important technical basis, while EAA readiness may also involve the service process and accessibility information provided to consumers.

Does the EAA apply to our website?

A website is not automatically covered simply because it is public. Applicability can depend on the service, business size, market and national implementation. We identify relevant accessibility considerations, but we do not provide legal advice.

Is an automated scan enough?

No. Keyboard navigation, focus order, meaningful alternative text, screen-reader behaviour and complete user processes cannot be evaluated reliably through automation alone.

Do you audit every page?

Usually not. We select a representative sample covering important templates, shared components, content structures and complete user processes.

Do you need access to our code?

Not for a standalone audit. For remediation, code or content-management access may be required. We can also prepare implementation guidance for your existing team.

Can you work with our current team or agency?

Yes. We can prepare findings for your designers and developers, explain the changes and verify their implementation.

Do you audit multilingual websites?

Yes. Shared templates and components are tested across the website, while language-specific content and differences between localised processes are sampled separately.

How long does an audit take and what does it cost?

Both depend on the number of templates, components, integrations and user processes in scope. After an initial review, we propose the scope, timeframe and price.

Does an audit guarantee legal compliance?

No audit can guarantee that an organisation will never receive a complaint or legal challenge. We evaluate the agreed scope against recognised accessibility requirements and help reduce accessibility barriers.
